Reymer House

Reymer House

Marine Parade
Mount Maunganui

This project involved the refurbishment of a 1950s weatherboard house in the sought after area of Marine Parade, Mount Maunganui.

Exterior work included removal of windows and installation of new timber french doors, in keeping with the era of the house.

An existing lean-to room was demolished to increase the outdoor living area. A large exterior deck was also created to provide an excellent indoor, outdoor flow and to maximise the outlook from the property.

Repairs and maintenance were also completed to the exterior cladding. Interior work involved opening up between the lounge and dining areas, design and installation of a new kitchen, removal of all floor coverings and polishing the existing solid tongue and grooved floors.

The existing bathroom was also completely stripped out and renovated including new tiles and shower fittings.

The interior and exterior were completely redecorated.

An estimate was provided at the commencement of the project and the job was completed on a cost plus basis.

The final account was agreed immediately.
